The Summerville Family YMCA Downtown Family Center is proudly participating in the Summerville DREAM’s Sweetest Week.  We are hosting  events each day from September 14-18.  We invite members and nonmembers to sign up today for our events!

Here’s our schedule:

  • Monday, September 14:   7am to 7pm

        •   BODYPUMP™ is THE ORIGINAL BARBELL CLASS™, the ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout.
      • 8am | 4pm
        • A fun-loving, insanely addictive dance workout. SH’BAM™ is an ego-free zone – no dance experience required. All you need is a playful attitude! Even if you walk in thinking you can’t, you’ll walk out knowing you can!
      • 10am | 3pm
        • Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYFLOW® is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered. Happy.
      • 1pm
        • Exercising muscles around the core, CXWORX™ provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favorite sports – it’s the glue that holds everything together.
      • 2pm
        • BODYCOMBAT is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ
  • Tuesday, September 15: 5pm
    • Ignite your workout journey with SPARK.  This is a full-body workout focused on training endurance, strength and power.  Join us for a maximum calorie burn experience!
  • Wednesday, September 16: 10am–4pm
    • Community Health & Screenings
  • Thursday, September 17: 9am | 6pm
    • Are you ready to experience The YARD?! This is a strength and conditioning program for anyone that wants to be healthy and fit. It incorporates functional movements and focuses on developing strength and power.
