ABOUT THE LEAGUE
The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they’ll carry with them throughout their lives. And the benefits are far greater than just physical health. Participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out.
Practices include specific drills to help children develop motor skills and improve coordination. Most importantly, this YMCA Youth Basketball league emphasizes teamwork, fair play, self-confidence, and fun. Volunteers coach our teams to help build skills and encourage character development in a non-competitive environment. ABOUT THE SEASON
The Y provides jerseys for every player. Please note, your child must the be age indicated in each division on September 1, 2019.
- Practices are Monday through Thursday, 5:30 pm OR 6:30 pm. Practice is once a week beginning the week of January 27th for the 9-12 age group and the week of March 30th 5-8 age group. Practices are held at the Ponds YMCA.
- Games are played on Saturdays. Games begin February 1st and run through March 21st for 9-12 age group. April 4th through May 30th for 5-8 age group. Games are held at the Ponds YMCA. There will be no games or practices April 11th.

Refunds: Any refunds will incur an admin fee of $15. No refunds after the start of the program.
