This year is unlike any other that we have seen at the Y; although, it is not unprecedented. In our 176 years, we have seen world wars, economic downfalls, social injustices and public health crises. And, we still stand today.
Our Y is unique. We are here for good, with our mission at the forefront of everything that we do. During these challenging months, we were able to adapt to meet the needs of our community. When our doors were closed, we distributed food to families in need. When our doors were closed, we provided essential childcare to those frontline families. When our doors were closed, we called our members for well checks.
When our doors were closed, we remained here when people needed us. We are more than a gym. We are a nonprofit organization that our community can count on.
We are a cause, a cornerstone of the community. We are a cause that needs your support. Today, we begin our six-week Here For Good Annual Campaign. We ask you to join our cause.
