Welcoming Week 2025
We will be hosting activities and events all week that celebrate the various cultures of our members, and bring neighbors of all backgrounds together to connect:
September 14 : Stories For All
Come into the YMCA and mark our world map and leave a note or picture telling us about your culture.
September 15: Coffee and teas from around the world. 9am and 4pm, until supplies last.
September 16: Our local CVS pharmacist will be at the Downtown Branch from 10am–2pm offering free vaccines for Flu, COVID, Pneumonia, TDAP (tetanus), and RSV. Be sure to bring your insurance card with you.
September 17: Community Health Fair. Join us for FREE health screenings and A1C testing from 10:30am – 1pm.
September 18 : Food For All – 11am to 1pm. Today we celebrate food from your culture! Bring a dish, drink, or dessert to share. Or you can stop by and just enjoy!
September 19: Queso and Guac Day- 3-5pm. Bring your special recipe to share!
